Friday, October 18th at The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site from 1 PM - 3 PM
The Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site is celebrating the mansion’s 140th Birthday on Friday, October 18, 1 to 3 p.m. with a family friendly Victorian themed birthday party.
In October 1884 the construction of the mansion was completed, and Bismarck businessman Asa Fisher, wife Adelaide, stepdaughter Lillian, and Asa’s mother Betsy moved in. Asa and Adelaide lived in the home until 1893 when they sold it to the state for us as the executive mansion.
Join us for a family friendly tea & treats, painting wooden pumpkins and leaves, and historic lawn games all afternoon.
At 2 p.m. there will be story time and songs with Kittyko.
