Research takes on a whole new dimension in the State Archives, where researchers can view census records and find lost family members who once called this land home. In addition, the archives and manuscript collections can provide researchers with insight into North Dakota history through use of unpublished sources. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will make voices of the past speak once again. The State Archives is located in the ND Heritage Center on the State Capitol Grounds.
