It's the final night of the Holiday Lights and this event will lighten every mood.
If your New Year's Resolution is to be more creative, playful, interactive, mischievous, obscure, goofy, outgoing, reserved, curious, crafty, vicarious, spontaneous, extemporaneous, productive, counter-productive, giddy, delighted, or entertained then perhaps this event can help you channel your inner North Dakota Nisse*.
What you can expect is the unexpected. During this two hour social, adults 21+ will be provided with a multitude of materials. Think of things like odds, ends, bottle caps, cast offs, cardboard, cardstock, pipe cleaners, boxes, branches, ephemera and etcetera.
Participants draw a "task" and use whatever (or whoever) you find within the MMPL Community Room to complete your instructions. Once a task is completed, you'll draw another... and add a "task" of your own to our bucket.
BeLoud Entertainment is bringing the tunes. As for the tasks-- they're supplied by you!
This is MMPL's third annual Voksen Shenanigans gathering. Wackier. Task-ier. Silly Spectacular!
*Nisse are creatures/caricatures found in Scandinavian folklore. You may think you've never caught a glimpse of their signature red caps, but just because you haven't seen them, you can be sure they're just out of sight and waiting for an opportunity to upend your day in a small way. Nisse are wonderful mascots for an event that encourages nonsense.
