As our Bureau’s CEO, Sheri is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the organization. Sheri earned the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation, the only integrated executive program specifically designed for the Destination Marketing Industry. Sheri has been with the CVB since July 1997 and took over the reigns as the CEO April 1, 2015, after serving as the CVB’s Chief Operating Officer.

Barb has been with the CVB since 2006, and each time that you come in contact with her you will be greeted with a smile and a helpful hand. As a Travel Counselor, Barb is here to assist visitors that stop in, or call, with their travel needs. If she doesn't have the information that you are looking for, she will do her best to find the answers you seek!

Laurie’s voice is probably one the first you will hear when calling the CVB. She joined the CVB in June 2002 with twenty-three years of experience as an administrative assistant.

In addition to providing support services, Laurie has a wealth of information on both the CVB and the Bismarck-Mandan community, which is available to visitors and clients.

Laurie also manages the CVB Gift Store and is a wizard at putting together custom gift baskets showcasing North Dakota products.

In 2001 Camie was hired as the Lewis & Clark Coordinator for the CVB as well as for the Bismarck-Mandan Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Committee. As the bicentennial came to an end, Camie was hired as the CVB's Communications Manager. Camie works with travel writers and other media in addition to developing the CVB's monthly newsletter and other CVB publications. She also works closely with the CVB's advertising agency on all of the marketing & advertising.

Lindsey Morey joined the CVB in February 2018. Lindsey’s background in sales and event coordination prepared her well for this position. Lindsey works with meeting and event planners, matching their needs with the facilities and services available in Bismarck-Mandan. Lindsey’s primary market segments include: Education, Ethnic, Events, Native American, Religious, Social and Sports.

LaRae Nelson joined the CVB in January of 2011. As a CVB Sales Manager, LaRae works with meeting planners helping them find the best facility to meet their needs in Bismarck-Mandan. LaRae’s primary market segments include: Agriculture, Associations, Corporate, Fraternal, Government, Group Tours, Medical and Military.

James joined the CVB May 2019. He is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is responsible for the financial statements, quarterly and yearly reports, and payroll. James's previous experience has prepared him well for his new role.

Faye became the Gaming Manager April 2019. For the past 12 years she has worked in the gaming industry as a blackjack dealer, including the last 10 with the CVB. She also holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree. Faye's wealth of gaming knowledge is a tremendous addition and allows her to support the needs of the organization.

Lori joined the CVB January 2012. She has extensive knowledge with the bookkeeping required to operate gaming. In addition, she is responsible for completing independent audits on a recurring basis. Lori plays a crucial role in ensuring gaming operates smoothly for the CVB.
